Humanities Teacher (Geography / History)

Teachers Pay & Conditions 

Full-time / Permanent – start September 2020             

We are looking for a creative, talented and committed Humanities Teacher with a primary focus on Geography (0.75 FTE) but also delivering 0.25 FTE (Approx.) teaching within our History Department.

You will pro-actively contribute to energetic and supportive teams by developing high quality learning experiences that develop students’ curiosity and fascination about the world.

Geography          History

The successful applicant will be:

  • A highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident teacher who enjoys delivering high quality, creative lessons and inspiring a love of Geography / History.
  • Able to teach across the 11-18 age and ability range, including up to A-level.
  • Able to secure high standards of engagement, progress and achievement for all students.
  • An inspiring practitioner who keeps abreast of the latest developments in learning and teaching.
  • Able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school and be committed to extra-curricular activities.
  • Have the personality to be a supportive Form Tutor.
