Parents of children who have been allocated a place at Fulford School are invited to attend a meeting on Thursday 12 July 2012 at either 5:30pm or 7:00pm (this date is an amendment to the published calendar). The times of the evening events are linked to our 4 Houses, with the event for Apollo and Athena at 5:30pm – 6:30pm and Artemis and Atlas occurring at 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Your child will be told their House and form during their visit to our school. Visits to Fulford School are scheduled for Monday 25 June – Friday 6 July 2012. Information about your child’s House will be sent home, via your child, in their Fulford School Day Planner.
Our Assembly Hall is not large enough to accommodate more than 500 people in comfort and safety. Therefore we would be grateful if you could restrict your party to no more than 3 people, including your child, for the above events. We understand that many of you will have younger children but hope that having advance notice will enable you to make alternative child-care arrangements. We thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
During early June all primary schools will be visited by Mrs Siân Rees, Deputy Head, when pupils will have the opportunity to ask questions about the change of schools.
Your son/daughter will have an opportunity to visit the school in the week commencing Monday 25 June 2012 to Friday 6 July 2012 and Mrs Rees shall be contacting the Primary Schools to arrange this visit through them.
