Fulford School General Election 2017

Fulford students spent form time discussing the 5 main political parties and learning about their policies this week, then joined the rest of the nation in voting on Thursday 8th June. 667 students cast their votes across Key stages 3 and 4.
In contrast to the national picture, Labour won a significant majority of votes, with 309 students crossing their box. The Conservative Party were the second most popular party, with 130. The Green party came third, with an impressive 120 votes, followed by the Liberal Democrats (57) and UKIP (34). 17 students abstained on this occasion.
