Our mission statement, designed by our students, highlights our commitment to maximising achievement and to develop our students as individuals. We believe that there is no limit to learning or ceiling on achievement and we seek the best progress and outcomes for all of our students. Our view of education is one that, while focusing on results, goes beyond qualifications through developing strong moral values, excellent social skills and a sense of community in our students so that they develop into articulate, responsible and successful adults.
Our House system, curriculum and our wide range of extra-curricular activities provide extensive opportunities for students to participate and achieve, developing shared values and a strong sense of community. We value teamwork and individual responsibility and offer diverse opportunities to develop these skills and attributes in our students. These qualities are promoted through sport, performing arts, activities such as our charitable fundraising, the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and our range of student leadership roles. We celebrate and recognise a wide range of achievement through our House and School awards and we are keen to maximise the involvement of our students in their school community.
Fulford School aims to combine academic excellence with outstanding care and support.
